The Minneapolis Freeze scored a 8-7 win versus the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Hole. Minneapolis first baseman Jason Leahy nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Jesus Espinoza converted his 7th save in 8 tries. The Freeze now have a record of 28-36.

Minneapolis third baseman Tommie Parsons changed the complexion of the game in the top of the eighth inning. That's when he belted a 3-run home run off Willy Ortiz. His 3rd home run of the season put Minneapolis in front, 8-7.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Leahy.
