| Cacti Stymie Coronado, Take 1-0 Win | The Albuquerque Cacti went home winners at Albuquerque Sports Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Tomohito Ihara. Ihara silenced the Coronado Phantoms, enabling Albuquerque to grab the 1-0 win. The Cacti' win now puts them at 32-34.
John Makeever aided the Albuquerque cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first. For the game, the left fielder was 2-3 with 2 singles.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Coronado manager Sean Davidson.
