| Barker goes 3-for-5, Leads Fireballs to Win | Joplin right fielder Art Barker had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Detroit Death Stars, 10-4. The Fireballs' win now puts them at 26-37.
With Joplin leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Barker hit a curveball from Ron Harris for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Fireballs ahead, 3-0.
"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Barker.
