| Aces Hope Win Turns Around Slow Start | The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Belfast Titanic, 7-3. Earning player of the game honors was catcher Bill Beasley, who slugged 2 home runs. Las Vegas reliever Kunihiko Mizuno picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Brett Johnson was saddled with the loss. Las Vegas, now 1-2, is off to a slow start.
The Aces got a big at-bat from right fielder Ricardo Ugarte. For the game, Ugarte went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Las Vegas a 5-3 lead.
