| Fireballs Win at Pasadena, 7-2 | Joplin Fireballs starter Dan Fram kept the Pasadena Bumblebees hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-2 win. Fram, now 5-2, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 9, walking 3, and allowing 2 earned runs. The Fireballs improve their record to 25-36 with the win over Pasadena.
The Fireballs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Aaron Myron. For the game, Myron went 2 for 5 with a double. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 13th double of the season gave Joplin a 2-1 lead.
