Coal Miners Come Back Late to Top Kodiaks
The Antioch Coal Miners did just enough to secure a 6-5 victory over the Calgary Kodiaks at The Coal Mine. Nobody did more than pitcher Owen Lewis, who captured player of the game honors. Antioch reliever Sung-your Park picked up the win to move to 2-1. Jose Artola suffered the loss. The Coal Miners bumped their record to 36-26 with this latest triumph.

Oscar Garcia was the walk-off hero for Antioch. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Coal Miners pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Garcia told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
