It was a fun time at Albuquerque Sports Stadium, where the Indian Wells Aeropostales and Albuquerque Cacti tangled.

The Albuquerque Cacti defeated the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 6-4, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium today. Leading the charge for Albuquerque was left fielder John Makeever. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. The Cacti improve their record to 30-33 with the win over Indian Wells.

The Cacti got a big at-bat from right fielder Dustin Adkinson. For the game, Adkinson was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Albuquerque a 3-2 lead.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Makeever. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
