| Tight Tilt Goes to Rockets, 3-2 | The rain came, as predicted, but the Reno Rockets and Silver Lake Baristas were able to complete their ballgame.
The Silver Lake Baristas got a superb performance from pitcher Cong Foong. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Reno. The Rockets won the game, 3-2. In spite of the loss, Foong was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings allowing 3 runs. Reno reliever Lourenço Russa picked up the win to move to 4-3. Cong Foong suffered the loss. Thomas Wright converted his 11th save in 13 tries.
The Rockets got a big at-bat from third baseman Darren Michels. For the game, Michels was 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Reno a 3-1 lead.
Michels called the win "a collective effort."
Reno is now 23-40, while Silver Lake is 36-23.
