| Racers Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras | The 2038 season is getting ugly for Reno.
The Bowling Green Racers topped the Reno Rockets by the score of 6-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter George Brett Jr.. Brett Jr. went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Racers on the day. The win was credited to Atsuya Suda in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Thomas Wright took the loss. Jason Keeping notched his 6th save in 6 chances.
Brett Jr. had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch cutter from Ramón Gonzáles, he banged a grand slam home run to center, giving the Racers a 6-2 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Brett Jr..
