Redbirds Slip Past Pasadena, 7-6

The Candiac Redbirds beat the Pasadena Bumblebees, 7-6, at Municipal Stadium. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Josh Tatham, who captured player of the game honors. He drew 5 walks in 6 trips to the plate, while scoring 3 times. Candiac reliever Hulusi Mumcu got the win, raising his record to 4-2. David Benitez was tagged with the loss. Candiac is 5th in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division with a record of 24-34.
