| Aeropostales Slip Past Coronado, 5-4 | The Indian Wells Aeropostales finished things off in style today at Stars Field.
The Aeropostales had to overcome a fine performance from Coronado pitcher Jason Klein to grab a 5-4 win at Stars Field. Klein allowed 3 earned runs over 8 innings. The win was credited to Hal Walshe in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Jarrod Cousins took the loss.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Indian Wells catcher Christopher Denve, facing Jarrod Cousins, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Aeropostales the 5-4 win.
"This joint was rocking," said Denve.
The last-place Phantoms have lost 7 straight games.
