| Caterpillars Get Road Win, 8-5 | Peoria and Bronx duked it out at Bronx Ballpark and the Caterpillars came out victorious.
The Bronx Bombers got a sterling performance from second baseman Chad Larson, but the Caterpillars still prevailed, 8-5. Larson was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Dennis Winkowski converted his 3rd save in 4 tries.
It could have been a different outcome for Peoria, had it not been for Ross Bullmore, the 29-year old first baseman . Bullmore contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Peoria up, 4-2.
"We came out aggressive," said Caterpillars manager Roberto Martínez. "We came out swinging the bats."
Peoria is now 28-31.
