The Tonga G.o.D. got a stellar performance from pitcher Paul Barrett, who handcuffed the Rubber City offense en route to a 3-1 win at Isle of Destiny. Barrett got the win, improving to 1-2. He allowed 3 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. Barrett allowed 1 earned run. Robinson Merrado recorded the save for Tonga, his 6th of the season.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, right fielder Hikuleo Tai'mani came through big-time for the G.o.D.. With Tonga leading 2-1, he belted a solo home run.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Tai'mani told the Tonga Herald.

The Rhinos, at 6-17, have stumbled out of the gate.
