3-1 Racers Win over Flash Evens Season Record

In a low-scoring game between the Bowling Green Racers and the Fairfield Flash, pitcher Alain Picard was masterful on the mound. The Bowling Green right-hander was named the player of the game in Bowling Green's 3-1 win. The Racers bumped their record to 28-28 with this latest triumph.

Bowling Green took a 3-1 lead on Simon Leeflang's 9th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Leeflang hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Fairfield pitcher Miguel Torres shaking his head.
