Groenendijk silenced the Minneapolis Freeze, enabling Detroit to grab the 6-1 win. Detroit goes to 32-20. The win puts them 7˝ games up in their division.
Groenendijk scattered 2 hits over 8.1 innings for the Death Stars. With the win, Groenendijk goes to 5-4 on the year with 58 strikeouts.
