| Bombers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Mustangs | Bronx Bombers starter Tim Oliver pitched a strong game against the Billings Mustangs at Cobb Field, leading the Bombers to a 4-2 win. Zong-yuan Sang was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. The Bombers have an impressive 34-19 record.
The Bombers got a big at-bat from left fielder Greg Dimon. For the game, Dimon went 1 for 5. He drove in 3 runs. In the top of the tenth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 21st hit of the season gave Bronx a 4-2 lead.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Oliver.
