| Cacti Win at Vancouver, 6-4 | The Albuquerque Cacti knocked off the Vancouver Canadians, 6-4, at Stanley Park. Munoto Okuta, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Albuquerque won. The right fielder was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Albuquerque reliever Lee Krause picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Cai-fei Men shouldered the loss. Hiroshi Nagasawa finished the game for Albuquerque and earned his 15th save.
Okuta had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 0-1 cutter from John Gayden, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Cacti a 4-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Okuta.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Okuta told the Albuquerque Citizen.
Albuquerque goes to 22-30, Vancouver to 26-27.
