| Cromsie Hits 2 home runs in Racers Win | The Bowling Green Racers downed the Cairo Sphinx, 10-7, at Pharaoh's Temple. George Cromsie led the way, going 2-for-4 for Bowling Green. Bowling Green reliever Masamichi Takeda picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Balamitra Sriramesh took the loss. Today's win puts Bowling Green at 25-27, while Cairo falls to 27-27.
Had Cromsie not come through in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Cromsie drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Racers never looked back after taking the 8-7 lead.
Cromsie told a Bowling Green Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
