| Canadians Score Late, Upend Coal Miners, 6-1 | Antioch had no answer for Vancouver Canadians hurler David Peralta, who overwhelmed Coal Miners hitters as the Canadians coasted to a 6-1 victory. Vancouver is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Vancouver took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out, right fielder Randy Stackhouse hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"We need to keep playing good baseball," Stackhouse told the Vancouver News.
