The Pasadena Bumblebees topped the Fort Worth Cats, 3-1, in Darryl Kile League action at LaGrave Field. The player of the game was Pasadena pitcher and Dominican Republic native Ramón Martínez. The Bumblebees bumped their record to 25-24 with this latest triumph.

Martínez worked his mojo for Pasadena. The hard-throwing right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit over 7 innings of work.
