Cats Walk It Off for 31st Win of Season

The Fort Worth Cats downed the Pasadena Bumblebees, 7-6, at LaGrave Field. The Cats were led by Dan Thibodeau, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-6 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times. The Cats bumped their record to 31-19 with this latest triumph.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Fort Worth first baseman Jeremy Bassett, facing Willy Ortiz, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Cats the 7-6 win.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Thibodeau.
