Victory Pushes Mustangs Record to 31-17
It was a fun time at Cobb Field, where the Cairo Sphinx and Billings Mustangs tangled.

Cairo right fielder Noam Foucher had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Foucher was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times, even as Billings beat the Sphinx, 6-3. Foucher was named the player of the game despite the loss. The winner was Cecilio Friuli in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jun Nakayama took the loss. Lex Herrewijn earned the save for Billings, his 1st.

In the bottom of the third inning, right fielder Tom Horne came through big-time for the Mustangs. With Billings leading 3-2, he belted a 2-run home run.

"We try to keep the mood light around here," said Horne. "Winning helps."

The Mustangs bumped their record to 31-17 with this latest triumph.
