| Bombers Raise Rally Flag, Beat Albuquerque, 3-0 | Bronx right-hander Tony Aaron was in fine form, shutting out the Albuquerque Cacti, 3-0. Zai-shuo Qu earned the save for Bronx, his 4th of the year. The Bombers have an impressive 30-16 record.
Jorge Barrera drew 1 walk for Bronx. The 29-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Sergio Guerrero. It was his 23rd walk of the season.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Aaron, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
