Kodiaks Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Aeropostales

The Calgary Kodiaks powered past the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 8-3, at Foothills Stadium. Jerry Jaeger went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3, to lead the charge. The Kodiaks bumped their record to 23-23 with this latest triumph.

John Bidwell was 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs for Calgary. The 25-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Harrison Morley. It was his 7th RBI of the season.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Bidwell told the Calgary News. "It's as simple as that."
