| Extra-Inning Win by Freeze over Flash | Minneapolis beat Fairfield at The Ice Box, eking out a 3-2 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Alex Munoz, who earned player of the game honors. With the victory, the Freeze record now stands at 17-27.
The Freeze got a big at-bat from catcher Reynaldo Carrillo. For the game, Carrillo was 1 for 1 with a double. In the bottom of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 6th double of the season gave Minneapolis a 3-2 lead.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Carrillo.
