| Caterpillars Prevail, 2-1, Over Billings | Despite the rain, the fans at Excavatar Park enjoyed a good ballgame.
Peoria Caterpillars starter Jesse Huckins turned in a top-notch performance against the Billings Mustangs at Excavatar Park. The result was a win for the Caterpillars, 2-1. The Caterpillars bumped their record to 22-22 with this latest triumph.
Pat Laswell drove in one run for Peoria. The 25-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Joe Gillard. It was his 29th RBI of the season.
Laswell called the win "a collective effort."
