| Victory Pushes Cats Record to 30-15 | Fort Worth Cats starter Roberto Saucedo pitched a strong game against the Vancouver Canadians at Stanley Park, leading the Cats to a 5-1 win. Fort Worth is now 30-15, 2½ games up in the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division.
The Cats got a big at-bat from right fielder Tim Sorrells. For the game, Sorrells was 1-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Fort Worth a 3-1 lead.
"Enjoyed this one," Saucedo told the Fort Worth Herald. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
