| Rockets Solve Baristas, 4-2 | The Reno Rockets got a good effort from starter Lance Crumpton in defeating the Silver Lake Baristas at Red Rocket Field. The final score was 4-2. With the win, the Rockets have a record of 17-28.
Tim Mathews had a big run-scoring double for the Rockets in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Reno trailing 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Colby Virella and stroked the double to left-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rockets ahead, 2-1.
Crumpton told a Reno Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
