| Mustangs Get One-Run Win at Peoria | Excavatar Park was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.
The Billings Mustangs got a stellar performance from pitcher Todd Wallace, who handcuffed the Peoria offense en route to a 2-1 win at Excavatar Park. Wallace, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 1 walk.
The Mustangs got a big at-bat from catcher Roberto Marando. For the game, Marando went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the seventh, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Billings a 2-0 lead.
