| Maroney drives in 5 runs, Baristas Move to 28-13 | Sterling Maroney left his imprint on the 9-2 Silver Lake win against the Bowling Green Racers. Maroney, who is tied for 3rd in the NAL in triples with 3, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. The save was Aaron Valenti's, his 2nd. The Baristas bumped their record to 28-13 with this latest triumph.
Silver Lake grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Maroney, who is tied for 3rd in the NAL in triples with 3, hit a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Baristas out in front, 3-1.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Maroney.
