| Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Aeropostales | The Indian Wells Aeropostales wiggled past the Vancouver Canadians, 6-5, at Stars Field. Indian Wells left fielder Brian Martin earned player of the game honors. With the win over Vancouver, the Aeropostales improved to 17-24.
The Aeropostales got a big at-bat from second baseman Narihira Murakami. For the game, Murakami was 1-4 with a walk. In the bottom of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 31st hit of the season gave Indian Wells a 6-5 lead.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Murakami said in his postgame press conference.
