| Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Redbirds | Fans who gathered at Municipal Stadium saw a good contest between the Candiac Redbirds and Reno Raiders.
Bart Gascoyne batted in 4 runs to lead Candiac to a win over Reno. The final score was 5-4. Gascoyne chipped in with 1 single and 1 home run. Their 17-23 record puts the Redbirds third in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division.
Gascoyne had the big at-bat for Candiac. With no one out in the bottom of the 11th inning, he hit a sacrifice fly, giving Candiac the 5-4 win.
