| Cacti Subdue Coronado, 4-2 | Fans who gathered at Albuquerque Sports Stadium saw a good contest between the Albuquerque Cacti and Coronado Phantoms.
The Cacti had to overcome a fine performance from Coronado pitcher Ricky Alvarado to grab a 4-2 win at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Alvarado allowed 3 earned runs over 5.1 innings. With the win over Coronado, the Cacti improved to 18-23.
Marty Sella aided the Albuquerque cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Sella.
