| Leiby goes 3-for-4 as Aeropostales Squeeze Past Vancouver | The Indian Wells Aeropostales topped the Vancouver Canadians, 5-4, in Nick Adenhart League action at Stars Field. The player of the game was Indian Wells designated hitter T.J. Leiby. Indian Wells now sits at 16-24, while Vancouver falls to 20-20.
Leiby contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Indian Wells in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Leiby took a cutter from John Gayden and stroked the home run to left-center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Aeropostales to leap in front, 4-3.
"We take it day by day here," said Leiby, "and today was a good one for us."
