| Paczkis Turn Back Indian Wells, 4-2 | The game between Canton and Indian Wells is in the books, despite a little rain.
The Canton Paczkis got a stellar effort from pitcher Don Hart, helping Canton score a 4-2 win over the visiting Indian Wells Aeropostales. Hart, now 2-4, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 1 hit, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 1 earned run.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Clive Macaulay didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Indian Wells trailing 4-2, Macaulay retired Mike Matheny to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Macaulay, with a wink.
The Paczkis bumped their record to 24-15 with this latest triumph.
