Bears Mow Down Rockets, 10-1

The Birmingham Bears topped the Reno Rockets by the score of 10-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Andrew Stenger. Stenger went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Bears on the day. With the win, Birmingham goes to 18-21, while the Rockets fall to 15-25.

Stenger had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Bears went on to win.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Birmingham skipper António Álvarez.
