| Aces Raise Rally Flag, Beat Dallas, 6-3 | Las Vegas and Dallas duked it out at Metroplex Park and the Aces came out victorious.
Las Vegas shortstop Gary Skinner was a significant contributor in his team's 6-3 triumph over the Dallas Texans. He was 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Las Vegas. Las Vegas reliever Nelson Cardona was credited with the win, to go to 2-2. Tomio Nakahara took the loss for Dallas.
The Aces got a big at-bat from designated hitter Matt Strickland. For the game, Strickland was 1-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the eighth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 2nd double of the season gave Las Vegas a 5-3 lead.
"Enjoyed this one," Strickland told the Las Vegas Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
The Texans fall to 9-13 and continue their uneven start to the 2038 season.
