| Canadians Fall to .500 After Loss to Cacti | Albuquerque Cacti starter Blake Orlando was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Vancouver Canadians, 5-3. Vancouver's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
Jared Howard had a big 2-run triple for the Cacti in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Albuquerque trailing 3-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a slider from Sung-moon Lee and stroked the triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cacti ahead, 3-2.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Howard.
