| Phantoms Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Indian Wells | Coronado shortstop Bob Nichols made his presence felt in the 6-2 Phantoms triumph over the Indian Wells Aeropostales. Nichols was 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Coronado reliever Jarrod Cousins picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Toshikasu Yoshida absorbed the loss. Satoshi Yamada finished the game for Coronado and earned his 6th save.
Andy Hegarty aided the Coronado cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
