| Pumarejo Slugs Paczkis to 8-1 Win | Daniel Pumarejo helped his team muscle past the Vancouver Canadians, 8-1. In the game, the Canton right fielder belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. The Paczkis bumped their record to 21-14 with this latest triumph.
Pumarejo had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Paczkis went on to win.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Canton manager Brian Moore.
