Death Stars Prevail, 3-1, Over Minneapolis

Detroit starter Sergio Solis put a stranglehold on the Minneapolis offense. The right-hander had complete command of his sinker in leading the Death Stars to a 3-1 win. Barrett Lamb converted his 2nd save in 2 tries. The first-place Death Stars now have a 4-game winning streak.

Ed Noel aided the Detroit cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman was 1-2 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI.

"I like our mindset right now," said Detroit manager Edgardo Gonzáles.
