| Cats Prevail, 3-1, Over Indian Wells | Fort Worth and Indian Wells duked it out at Stars Field and the Cats came out victorious.
The Fort Worth Cats faced a tough opponent in Indian Wells pitcher John Huo, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Stars Field by a final score of 3-1. Huo went 5.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Maximino Pato got credit for the save for Fort Worth. It was his 10th of the year.
Lyle Wolochow, who is tied for 3rd in the NAL in triples with 3, aided the Fort Worth cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the second. For the game, the shortstop was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Fort Worth manager Jon Hughes.
Fort Worth has an impressive 22-11 record.
