Freeze Need Extras to Top Death Stars

The Minneapolis Freeze topped the Detroit Death Stars, 6-3, in Darryl Kile League action at The Death Star. The player of the game was Minneapolis pitcher and Jatibonico, Cuba native Jose Montalvo. The Freeze, with just their 10th win so far in 2038, have yet to catch fire.

Tomoshi Tanaka's hit in the top of the 13th was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a fastball from Dongdo-pa Chen for a run-scoring single. It put Minneapolis in front, 4-3.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Montalvo.
