| Texans Trip Aces in Extras | The Dallas Texans topped the Las Vegas Aces, 4-3, in Roberto Clemente League action at Metroplex Park. The player of the game was Dallas pitcher Felipe Rodríguez. The win was credited to Sam Thomas in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Mike Salter took the loss. The Aces fall to 9-11 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2038 season.
Dallas's win came gift-wrapped. With no one out in the bottom of the tenth, with the game tied, Dave Stoner reached on an error by the C, driving in 1 run.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Las Vegas skipper Dave Maloney, "and it cost us."
