| Victory Pushes Baristas Record to 20-10 | Silver Lake and Birmingham duked it out at Edgbaston and the Baristas came out victorious.
The Silver Lake Baristas downed the Birmingham Bears, 5-2, at Edgbaston. Oscar Mayes led the way, going 3-for-4 for Silver Lake. Rickey Turner picked up the save, his 6th.
Mayes had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a 2-run single. The Baristas went on to win.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Mayes.
The Baristas, now 20-10, have been on a roll in the early going.
