| Racers Win at Fairfield, 8-2 | A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Freddy Ramos, who is tied for 8th in the NAL in hits with 36, led the Bowling Green Racers to a 8-2 win over the Fairfield Flash. Bowling Green reliever Xavier Pearson picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Bernard Coste shouldered the loss. The Flash fall to 15-16 and continue their uneasy start to the 2038 season.
Ramos had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a 2-1 fastball from Bernard Coste, he banged a 2-run double to right-center, giving the Racers a 4-2 lead. It was the 6th double of the year for Ramos.
"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Ramón Torrez.
