| Bombers Subdue Antioch, 6-4 | Bronx center fielder Kenshiro Miyamoto had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Antioch Coal Miners, 6-4. Bronx reliever Jim Reusch picked up the win to move to 1-0. Cody Clayton suffered the loss. Bronx goes to 21-9 with the win.
Miyamoto had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-2 curveball from Cody Clayton, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Bombers a 6-3 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Miyamoto.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Miyamoto said.
