Baristas Get Win, Extend Streak to 4

Toshikasu Okuda made an impact in the 5-4 Silver Lake win over Minneapolis. Okuda went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Reliever Jared Jones picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Dane Manwaring took the loss. Picking up the save was Rickey Turner, his 5th.

Okuda contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Silver Lake in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-2, Okuda took a curveball from Dane Manwaring and stroked the home run to left-center. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Baristas to leap in front, 5-3.

"I like our mindset right now," said Silver Lake manager Diego Aguirre.

The Freeze fall to 9-19 and continue their lackluster start in 2038.
