Mustangs Prevail, 5-3, Over Fairfield

Billings starter Sergio Solis had a strong outing against the Fairfield Flash at Cobb Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Everton Mailes got credit for the save for Billings. It was his 4th of the year. The Mustangs, now 21-9, have been on a roll in the early going.

The Mustangs got a big at-bat from first baseman Dan Hodgson. For the game, Hodgson went 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave Billings a 4-2 lead.

"I like the roll we're on," said Billings manager Jorge Magana.
