Peoria rode a decent outing from starter Chris Sanchez to victory over the Reno Rockets at Red Rocket Field. The final score was 3-2. Peoria reliever Freddy Aguilar picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Thomas Wright shouldered the loss. The Rockets fall to 9-17 and continue their uneasy start to the 2038 season.

The Caterpillars got a big at-bat from second baseman Chris Bramel. For the game, Bramel was 2 for 5 with 2 singles. In the top of the tenth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 18th hit of the season gave Peoria a 3-2 lead.
